The United States Forest Service needs your help!

Ventenata Dubia (North Africa grass) was identified at and around Lava Point last fall. So far, this is the only documented site on the entire 4.2 million acres of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Ventenata is a highly invasive annual grass (think – the next cheat grass!)  https://www.nwcb.wa.gov/weeds/ventenata

You can help control the spread by staying on established trails and cleaning your shoe & equipment when you leave Lava Point or any area infested with noxious weeds!
